OC Home Caregivers, Nurse Aides, Companions, Home Helpers
Rita is a 63-year-old senior citizen from Anaheim Hills, CA. She lives alone with her pet cat Trixie. Her son Josh is a businessman in downtown Los Angeles and is very busy during the week. Every other week he visits his mother and brings a fresh batch of groceries and food for the cat. He already knows his mother’s favorite frozen dinners.
Recently, Josh has noticed that his mother’s movement has slowed considerably, especially in the past year. She was also almost a victim of Elder fraud by a suspicious door-to-door salesman that has been at the house on three separate occasions, attempting to retrieve personal information.
Worried about his mother’s safety, Josh hired Eunice, a 27-year-old caregiver who serves as Rita’s companion on a 24 hour care basis. Things are going well in the home as Eunice participates with Rita in a variety of recreational activities, some housekeeping duties, grocery shopping, and pet care.
Post-Surgery Care for Jackie T.
Recently, Jackie had to undergo surgery for a hip replacement after suffering a fall down stairs in her backyard, an unfortunate event that could have been prevented if she had supervision. Jackie is now recuperating at home. In an emergency rush, Todd had to take time off from work to fly out to Huntington Beach, CA and bring Jackie home from the hospital to provide in-home care.
Knowing that he couldn’t afford to put off his job any longer, Todd needed a solution, especially with an estimated recovery time for Jackie that could take as long as 6 months. He found A-1 Home Care Agency by searching Huntington Beach In Home Care on Google.
After interviewing a few nurse aides, Todd went with Molly, a 45-year-old nurse aide with After Surgery Care experience and 17 years of experience as a nurse aide. Molly has been providing personal care, incision care, meal preparation, and some housekeeping duties for Jackie on a full-time 24-hour care basis. She provides Todd with status updates at the end of each day and will most likely be providing care for Jackie until she is 100 percent better!
