Our Indonesian in-home care caregiver, Yohana Momor, has always been a dependable care provider even before she joined the healthcare industry. She was a cook in a childcare establishment in 1993 prior to becoming a caregiver and a driver for blind patients in a facility in 2000. In 2009, she joined our team at A-1 Home Care.

She said that she learned to be a caregiver in the facility because she loves taking care of elder clients. And currently, she is providing wonderful care to one of our senior clients, Mrs. Janice P., of Newport Beach. Mrs. P who is in her 80’s is a fall-risk patient. She accompanies her elderly client and meets up with Mrs. P’s friends, especially when the matriarch is bored at home. “She’s a pretty nice lady,” said Yohana. Mrs. P is quite active. “Once a week, she plays Bridge and twice a week, she plays Mahjong,” Yohana mentioned. She also added, “When it comes to my job, I don’t complain about it. I like to work. I prefer not to stay at home. It’s boring.”

Mrs. P and Yohana also visited us at A-1 Home Care, and you can see that they have a good camaraderie. Mrs. P with her cheerful nature would joke around with Yohana. She considered Yohana a good friend. A-1 Home Care salutes Yohana Momor for her reliability, affable personality and loyalty to her senior clients and adults with special needs.
